Feature Request- Something usefule w/ .Net Passport function

I don't know of anything that integrates w/ your .Net Passport that you can set up to integrate w/ Windows login... nothing period. I've never seen anything use this feature.

What's the point of Passport integration if it doesn't do anything? Wasn't that the whole point of it's purpose some 10 years ago in its inception? -- MCP, MCDST

Course it does! It's originally meant to help with things like Windows Messenger, but as that isn't there anymore... But still, it helps with things that use the .NET Passport, so that you don't have to keep entering it all the time. The Digital Locker (http://www.vistabase.co.uk/welcome.php?subcats/systemapps/digitallocker), Internet Explorer catches onto some things with .NET and other things that'll be integrated.
It's there to save time, and it will end up working 100% by the time of RTM :o)

??? Something is being requested ?? That cached passport is available for use when visiting resources needing passport authn. Windows already does allow use of these, and login can be done at least within an IIS interface where protocol transitioning can enable tying the external authn'd identity to a Windows identity.
